10 Things// Thanksgiving Edition

I haven't posted a "10 Things I love" in a while, and it's really hard not to start posting Christmas things and such, but I think I'll wait till Thanksgiving is over, although I already started listening to Christmas music and I got a head start on making my Christmas presents! But anywho... here are some yummy treats that I'm drooling over and possibly thinking about making for Thanksgiving...that is if I don't work. I hope you all like this picture, because I can relate to it, and that's what I'd look like if I tried cooking a turkey!

1. This Cran-apple Marshmallow Salad I found on Pinterest! Here's the recipe!

2. This Honeycrisp Apple Cocktail! I want to make this right now!

 3. I know this looks a little weird, but it's wild rice and dried fruit! Plus it's healthy for you! :) It's on Martha Stewart's website here. Check it out!

4. You can't forget the mashed potatoes for a classic Thanksgiving dinner. They're my favorite!

 5. Instead of pumpkin pie, how about these cute little Raspberry Swirl Cheesecake Cupcakes? YUM!

 6. Sweet potato bites found here! They look adorable, and they're vegan!

 7. Green Bean Casserole! Heck Yes!

8. These mini pumpkin cakes! Oh my, I love love love pumpkin! <3

 9. Last but not least, the turkey!

10. Just kidding, my family will probably forget this again. They do every year.

What are your plans for Thanksgiving? I hope everyone has a great and wonderful Thanksgivig! Keep your bellies full! :)

halloween weekend

I just wanted to wish everyone a very spooky halloween weekend! These past two weeks I've been working, making my 3-d design body extension (soon to post), carving pumpkins, going to haunted hayrides, drinking pumpkin spice coffee, and enjoying the halloween costume parties! What are your plans this weekend?

Here's a little image I made in the spirit of the holiday! Happy Halloween! <3

Sugar Skull DIY

Here's a cute DIY, (and my first one to post on here) me and Arick made the other night with paper maché skulls. They're cute for a little halloween decoration! Have fun! I'd love to see what yours turns out like!
We bought paper maché skulls at Michaels craft store on sale! so go there now why all the halloween stuff is on clearance! then we painted them white. i left some brown on mine to make it look older, but do whatever you'd like with yours! that's why i love sugar skulls, they're all different and unique in their own way! then we used black puffy paint and other acrylic paints, and voila! so easy and cute! :)

i gave mine a cute bow :)

arick's turned out so cool!
so cute! <3

i hope you guys have as much fun making these as i did!

10 Things I Love//

This post is so late, I'm suppose to do this every Thursday, but my schedule is hectic. I also hate the lack of posts on my blog, but no worries! I hope to fix this! Anyways.... here's a few things I'm lovin'!

1. Pumpkin Spice Lattes. I get the perks of having these since I work at Starbucks. ;) YUM!

2. I'm lovin' that ceramic coffee mug, those gingerbread skeleton cookie cutters, and the snow in a can from Perpetual Kid!

 3. These pumpkin cookies are adorable! I just want to bake fall treats!

4. The Pumpkin Pie dress at Red Velvet. I need to get my hands on this!

 5. This retro kitty-cat clock! This is going on my Christmas list!

6. This fall bucket list. I found this on Miss Indie's blog. Thanks so much! I plan on doing everything on here, and it's so inspiring.

 7. This coat from Modcloth that's coming soon!

8. Neil Young is soooooo inspiring me lately.

9. These suitcases are adorable. I wish I could find these!

10. Saddle Shoes. I've been drooling over my mom's original pair!

The Science of Sleep

After a crazy week, me and Arick sat back and relaxed to watch The Science of Sleep. I thought I'd share some clips from the movie. This film has got to be one of my all time favorites! I highly recommend this film to anyone looking for something unique and possibly life changing. This movie, along with Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, has moved me in so many ways unexplainable. Michel Gondry is truly captivating through his ideas and films. I could watch it over and over again, still comprehending everything and never getting bored. I am absolutely positively in love with The Science of Sleep. Do me a favor and watch it, if you have comcast it's on demand! :)
